I have that itch again.

The itch to put blue in my hair, either as a singular streak at the front or tips on my waist-length hair. I bleached my tips once(Solstice will remember that) in high school for funky colored hair, but by the end of things the breaking, plastic doll hair texture was god awful and I was so glad to have it trimmed out. I dyed the tips blue again sometime later, though for the life of me I can't remember when that was. The color was beautiful(Special Effects 'Blue Mayhem', though it faded out quite quickly and my hair returned to it's normal dark blonde color.

I want to try it again, but I'm worried about staining my virgin hair. Chemicals will never come near my hair if I can help it. I'd be happy to dye my hair again if I have the promise of it washing out entirely over time, but I'll just have to wait or ponder it more if it means I might have to deal with a nasty, muddy blueish chunk of hair.

Any tips or thoughts from those with unusual hair or who've done so in the past?

Badges: Typical sizes are 3x5 on smooth bristol, any type of character, PG-13 rating, full color marker, and special effect media(Such as metallic inks or glow paints). They come laminated and punched, but without a lanyard.
- Please specify character, name to be on the badge, any special detail requests(Such as clothing, jewelry, or expression), and any other details you would like(Ex: color theme, vertical or horizontal design, etc).
- Rate: 20$ a badge, regardless of number.

Art Cards: Typically around 3x5, art cards are miniature pieces of art. They're like my gallery work scaled down and may be in color or black and white. They may be commissioned one at a time or in a theme set which will then be mounted and mailed to the recipient.

- Please specify any characters or bodies, poses or situations, themes, colors, or any special requests. If commissioned in a set of two or more, please specify if you would like the cards mounted or not, and if so, whether all cards are to be included together and if there are any special mounting requests. Nudity, sexy poses, and violence are ok. Sexually explicit imagery is not.
-Rate: 25$ for an individual card, 20$ per card if purchased in a set of 2 or more.

Character Busts: 9x12 or 11x14 bristol of a character's head, neck, and shoulders, intended as a portrait. They may be in color, greyscale, or black and white inks. Sexually explicit imagery is not ok, most other things are. If worried, ask.
- Specify character, detail of their personality or include a preferred expression, color, and any details you would like in the image.
- Rate: 35$ for 9x12, 45$ for 11x14. For any extra characters in the image include +10$.

Full Body or Large Pieces: Done on an individual basis, contact artist for discussion. Prices begin at 75$ for a 14x17 piece.

My Commission Policy:

The customer agrees to pay the full required amount before work on the original begins. The artist agrees to refund a fair and just amount should the customer be unsatisfied before receiving the artwork. The artist will NOT refund the cost of materials, time already spent on the piece, or if the customer is dissatisfied with the completed piece; this is to protect the artist from being swindled. The customer and artist both agree to keep in regular communication throughout the process. If a deadline is required, it must be discussed with the artist before any work begins. The customer must communicate clearly with the artist, this includes legible writing as well as a clear explanation of what is desired in the artwork. If the customer requires any changes to be made to the piece that necessitates starting over new or spending a great deal of time fixing, the customer will be charged a fee at the artist's discretion. Lastly, the artist reserves the right to not accept any commission or to refund a customer's money in the event they cannot or do not wish to complete a commission.

Anyone commissioning me must agree to the above policy.
